Careers in Media Arts

After studying various professions in media art, I chose the role of sports photographer. Sports photographers are professional photographers who shoot high-quality images for athletes, sports events, and other action filled moments. They use their technical skills, creativity, and sports knowledge to record the excitement, intensity, and emotions of sports competitions. The main responsibilities of a sports photographer include setting up and maintaining camera equipment, predicting key moments in a game or event, and capturing images that convey the story and atmosphere of a sports event. They may work for newspapers, magazines, websites, or sports teams, and their photos can be used for editorial, promotional, or commercial purposes. To stand out in this field, sports photographers must have a deep understanding of photography techniques such as shutter speed, aperture, and composition, as well as an in-depth understanding of the sports covered.   I made this GIF using pencil 2d. It depicts the story of a man going fishing. The difficult thing in the production process is that you need to draw each movement little by little.

Stop Motion 2

I used my Apple phone to shoot this clip. This clip tells the story of one earphone going out with another earphone home. The difficulty in this task is keeping the object moving slightly and keeping the camera stable.

Stop Motion

In 1st clip, I painted this video on my iPad. I drew a story of three fish chasing.  In 2nd clip, I use tomatoes as props to shoot. I photographed the process of cutting tomatoes. The difficulty in this process is to keep the tomato unchanged when cutting it. In 3rd clip,  I took a video of a student walking. His legs seemed not to move but moved. It was amazing.

The poem project

I am responsible for shooting in this assignment. I used the technology I learned in class to enrich the video. I used many sub-lenses to express a section, and adjusted the focus to make the visual focus more prominent. At the same time, I also shot different angles of view, including the first and the third. They described the story from different angles. I used an Apple phone to shoot and used a low saturation filter.

Video Montage

I made this video by editing. And in different clips, with its corresponding background music. This makes the whole video look more vivid and organized. This is a horror video, with such background music, the overall effect will be better.

Time-lapse photography

This video is made by my iPhone, I use time-lapse photography. I put my phone next to the window and take a delayed video of street view. It not only shows the process between day and night, but also the back and forth cars.
